Smart Egg Detection & Counting System
A real-time egg detection and counting system using YOLO12 and OpenCV, designed to monitor eggs moving through a production line. Each egg is detected, assigned a unique ID, and counted only once as it crosses a virtual line, providing an automated and scalable solution for poultry farms and egg processing facilities.
This project is a real-time egg detection and counting system built with YOLO12 and OpenCV. It supports both live camera input and pre-recorded video files, detects eggs, tracks them across frames using persistent IDs, and counts each egg accurately when it crosses a virtual horizontal line.
